It took me three phone calls to finally get mine processed today. If you only have SSN she said enter it even though it makes it look like an EIN number. I did, it turned green I went on. I entered 0 for cost of goods, click the little box for question on the top of the third page,(maybe 2nd page, but its in a weird spot, easy to miss) I initially missed it. Then it went through. Woman said 5-7 day turnaround before I heard from them. Said I would get an email.

It says you can't use the 10,000 to cover losses?? Just can use it for rent, utilities, mortgages, receipts payable.

We might qualify for unemployment to cover lost income as well but site said I can't apply until April 5 for Pennsylvania. Each state may be different. It will be two weeks after filing before I would see any funds.

Wife quit her management job a few months ago to be a stay at home mother, ended up needing a day out a week to keep her sanity so she took a bar tending gig 1-2 days a week then the restaurant got shutdown for Covid19, she now collects and it lets her go back 18 months so she is likely going to get $580 from the state and $600 from the fed for 36 weeks with $1700 cash for her and the kid and I get to collect as well, closed business but still get recurring dividends + the same $580 + $600 for 36 weeks.

That adds up to $86,660 in payments by the government to not work. I mean not that I’m complaining but wtf is wrong with our government handing out this kind of cash?

Loan seems based on your own reconnaissance. They'll use your SSN probably to see how you filed last year and how much you made. That seems like its it!! You can start the real loan process if you need more. Its 3.75% and can get 30 ear term if you qualify. Payments not due til 6 mos. Can't use the money to pay off other bills, debt, mortgage. Not sure how they'll be enforcing that.

You will apply through an SBA existing lender. I received an email yesterday from Chase that on April 3 I will be able to apply online through my chase business account.

You can download a sample application to have the info ready for Friday when the application opens up.

SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities.

Self-employed people with no employees have to wait til April 10 to drop off their application.

Screw that, all I care about is the guaranteed EIDL grant for 10k.

For what? We won't qualify for paycheck protection without employees.

Same. I won't take a loan but I'd love that grant.
