My area ain’t doing shit (Coronavirus) AMA???

I live in Texas , my area isn’t doing a damn thing to slow the Coronavirus
The major cities are shutdown, but I live in a cluster of small towns and they aren’t doing shit to stop it or q-tine

I work for a car dealership and it’s business as usual, they are selling cars and we’re still servicing them like normal

There is about 40 cases in the area I live too

We’re all pissed that we still have to get into peoples cars

I honestly believe these people are greedy , this is bigger then the $$$

We have a 10 person rule but NO ONE is following it , it’s almost a damn joke

I wanna quit my job because I’m scared of this damn virus, I wish we would shit it all down for 2-3 weeks and get this over with . But at the same time I’m THANKFUL to still have a job . I’m in a rock and a hard place.

My local store has a good supply of food , no toilet paper though lol
We’re the only town in my area to have zero cases and NO has found out that we still have food on our shelf from the bigger towns around us

Been talking 2000mg of vitamin c and zinc for 3 weeks now , I have a couple gallons of hand sanitizer and I refill a small bottle daily to use

No mask though , I have gloves but don’t wear them I believe it’s in the air and we’re fucked either way


How’s it in your local area ?
Do you still have a job ?

At what point do I tell my boss it ain’t worth it ?

Also most people in the surrounding counties want a stay at home order
Local gov is too stupid and acting to slow

From my understanding most of Texas is acting like the virus ain’t shit
I expect a huge rise and trouble for my fellow Texans
