Empty Hospitals? Clearing The Deck?

Hospital nurse with direct knowledge told me they are “clearing the deck.” She said they are trying to get as many people out as possible and doing everything they can to not take new patients now. She said it is already bad and going to get much worse. She said they are not super busy now because of this, but expects this to be the calm before the storm.
