so stupid it took this long for some nations to start requiring masks

video at that link ... nations where exponential spread stopped early are the ones that adopted policy of everyone wears a mask in public

the explanations as to why WE don't are self-contradictory

health care workers DO wear masks, and I'm not talking N95 but surgical masks or even less, they will wear homemade masks if thats all they have

so its not because they're not effective

they say, well, we don't have enough masks

couldn't we make MORE ?

they say, people don't wear them properly, if they touch their mask, I guess, while wearing it, that could increase the spread

can't we tell people not to do that ? aren't most people able to take heed of instructions and warnings and learn to use their face mask properly ?

I just don't get it ... its some kind of pathological elitism, they want to believe only highly trained professionals with MD or PhD can wear a face mask I guess
