Makes sense I suppose to hunker down in a place experiencing the worst as it will be the first to bounce back given resources are not yet depleted. |

Even with grocery stores still open and amazon still delivering. The cases will go down. Once the government assures the citizens that this is past us now and go back to work slaves, it will rise up even worse than the initial outbreaks. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75454629 There is no escape from this - we all get it. Many already had it Dingleberry |

Its due to not doing as many tests, we are running out of testing kits and thus are reducing the number of people being tested... I believe the same is happening in Florida and many other parts of the world. What you may think is gone... might come back to haunt you. |

There are only an upper of 650 000 deaths a year for the flu, they can't keep on borrowing deaths from the flu for too long, otherwise the math won't add up. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77455346 Switzerland 03/31/2020 12:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What does it matter? Even if it was 1 which is was 4-5 weeks ago and everyone left their quarantine it would still go up because there's always 1. It's never going to be zero. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75368507 So what's the point of all this?? Destroying the economy and forcing the middle class to heel. |

About 9% of those asking for a test in Florida are positive. Hopefully the test is specific for COVID19, and not just detecting Coronavirus DNA. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75913449 I must admit, Florida has great data management!! Kudos. Florida's daily cases down (look at chart on lower left side): [link to experience.arcgis.com (secure)] COVID-19 is not the name of the virus. That is SARS-CoV-2. SARS-CoV-2 has no DNA. It is a single stranded RNA virus. |

Florida's daily cases down (look at chart on lower left side): [link to experience.arcgis.com (secure)] There’s an eleven day backlog. I know this because my wife had her test results today’s. Eleven days after submitted. I asked the lady on the phone whom called to give us the results why it took eleven days. Someone here suggested it was because her test was sequenced. We were told it was due to backlog. Eleven days backlog. BINGO!!!! Also we will see an uptick in new deaths. In many cases it takes up to 20 days from symptoms to die. Most of the country has only seriously been testing for two weeks, if there is a 10 day backlog, well, we are goIng to see many many more numbers. Florida is 100% gonna be one of the new hot spots. I hope I am wrong, I love south beach and the keys and hope to get back there after this is over. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78360655 United States 03/31/2020 12:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No it hasn't flattened. You have 1 day where the numbers are not reported or possibly slightly down. This happened many times over in Italy. So unless there is a precedence, you are making a projection with no data to back it up other than one day where the numbers are down. Don't ever get into the stock market, son. |

Also saw they prioritized truckers & agricultural workers getting available hotel rooms. ThereRMeds4That |

I found it unusual that they would include whether or not the person traveled from somewhere else. That information doesn't matter to the virus. No advantage since once intubation/ ventilators needed people die whether the staff is overworked or on normal hours. People still die ventilators or not...people still die whether in the hall or a private room. No real difference except the economy also doesn’t come back with curve flattening because it will continue for months not weeks. |
