The reaction to a virus like this seems so overblown UNLESS:

1. It's a bio-weapon that came out of the level 4 virology institute in Wuhan. And all the world leaders know, because the Chinese told them that it was.

2. They are preparing for a complete economic meltdown and reset. And the troops being put in places are a means to squash any resistance as we head into turbulent times.

If it's airborne it's not safe to go outside especially on windy days. Survives for 3 hours airborne and you have 20 mile per hour winds out of the south or north or west. I imagine a few dozen of those little microscopic buggers can get pretty far down the road in those conditions.

airborn means droplets, water droplets

aerosolized means it survives outside water droplets, which is far far far more contagious.
