BENEFITS OF LIVING ALONE --- You can release your farts anytime and at any volume -- no "trying to let them out silently"

I live with others and don't let them out silently, we just laugh about it. You're doing something wrong if you had to silently let them out when you lived with other people.

Hell my house is so open about farts that we tell everyone "I GOTTA TAKE A SHIT HURRY UP!" when someone else is using the toilet.

..sometimes people try to suppress the volume a bit....so as to be respectful of others...

When I burp, I do that as loud as I can.

I can handle the burps and the louder the better. But no farting around others. Step outside, walk into another room, excuse oneself.

For some reason the previous owner of my house drywalled over the fan vent so when I take a dump the fumes have nowhere to escape.
