They've been doing absolutely everything that they could since the beginning of this to cause blind panic... I don't think it was meant to be calming, at all.

I think it's having exactly the effect that they intended, as seen by the reactions to it on this thread.

So, I take it that NY is losing its marbles quickly in a time of crisis.

I don’t know. Why do the other buildings around it look so tall? I’ve been to the Empire State Building at least 20 times in my lifetime and seen it a lot more in person. The buildings surrounding it don’t appear that tall in real life
