There could be another underlying element to playing in Las Vegas. Right now, scientists are looking into whether the summer heat can slow or kill the virus. There are no conclusions as of yet, but if it’s determined that the heat does, in fact, play a mitigating factor, then resuming NBA basketball during a Las Vegas summer could make even more sense.
