I was a good docu-series, but the overblown hype is seriously getting getting on my nerves. It’s gotten annoying.

Turned on the radio on my drive to work, they were talking about Tiger King, after my shift on my drive home from work, switched the dial and this other show was talking about Tiger King.... These were sports related shows, the morning one being on an all-Sports station.

Pull up the net, few top stories related to Tiger King or some of the people involved, social media having celebrities with “Free Joe Exotic” shirts and merch.

Came on GLP, multiple threads on Tiger King

Went for a drive to put gas in my ride, again, show taking about Tiger King.

I've never seen it and already I'm fuckin' tired of the stupid memes I see everywhere.

I just hope we don’t hear a comment about it from the pres in the next few press conferences.

And did you hear that Netflix (sheckelfkix) is already considering working on a follow-up to Tiger King?

Maybe it'll give more people awareness on how unfair exotic animals get treated. I for one love seeing lions and tigers, but if we don't change some things they'll be gone in no time.

I am enjoying the memes from the show. It's better than seeing more Coronavirus memes. I've been following that shit since January and it was nice to stop thinking about it for the time being.

The show has some loony, fringe conspiracy types. Even the Carol Baskins chic and her followers reminded me of the early GLP, Gaia flower power types that were abundant here long ago. SInce when are tigers considered sexy? I always thought that was just some white trash style. Other than that the episodes keep getting weirder, I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I am. I'm on episode 4 and every episode just has another twist in there.

It's all fake but the producers exposed the "Tiger King" plot to kill off his rival long before they started to produce the show.

Oh yeah, now I remember The Discovery Channel has always found people with dubious character flaws and built shows around them and then were "surprised" when the shit hits the fan.

I thought it was interesting how psychologically fucked up people turn to animals for love and support they feel they could not get from humans. It is a shame tigers and other animals that belong in the wild are used in this way. Its like TDS syndrome in a way. Joe Exoctic was so rejected by his dad for his "manhood" he found some kind of replacement in tiger's; it is all so freudian. Animals do love you w/o judging tho so I get it but then the tigers became the ones who were abused. Its all a very sad sick cycle and I wish there were better forms of safe and successful therapeutic environments for people to heal and work through issues but Pharma ruined all that with, oh just take a pill instead and then of course so many abuse stories about counselors. So we turn to tigers and Trump for our love or our hate and its so sad how fked up humans are today.
