I'm working from home so still getting paid. I don't even get the "stimulus" money despite all the taxes I pay. Thankfully, I still have a job. People who are still working really shouldn't be getting that money - it should be going to the ones who have been fired.

You will get the money unless you make more than $99k/year (single) or $198k/year (married). It's literally helicopter money, but not enough to make that big of an impact on the wider economy.

nope, not gonna either. I spent the last 3 years a caretaker with no actual income. I have a few thousand bucks to my name before ultimate personal doom. LOL I had a great job lined up and the plug got pulled for all this Corona crap. Been eyeballing a long time abandoned field by my place for planting secret crops and the near by hill as a hole to dig n live in. Nearby pond for fish geese n ducks. maybe frogs. Oh I'm so screwed. I coulda bugged out to the mountains a solid month ago and thought nahhhh this ll pass. FML.

So funny that the rich get the money as a gift, and the poor get back some money that was taken from them. That is f'ing hilarious.

The government illegally locks you in your home, you can't leave to make money, doesn't even provide the amenities of a prison, you can starve to death as far as they are concerned, and then tricks you into thinking that they're there for you, that they care, they'll hook you up for ONCE in this nation's history.

Firsthand knowledge here, checks for businesses have already been printed, finished on Friday. They go out in a few weeks. As for the direct deposits, no clue.
