Man hits guy with car because he didn’t cover his cough. Cougher then shoots driver.

JOHNSTOWN, PA – Police in Johnstown stated that what started out as a verbal exchange regarding someone not covering their mouth when they coughed, ended with one of those arguing getting hit by a car and shooting at the driver’s car in response.

Video of the later portion of the altercation was captured by someone inside of a nearby gas station, which was between 53-year-old William Sauro and 56-year-old Guillermo Alvarez.

Authorities say things escalated quickly because Sauro caught Alvarez coughing and not covering his mouth in the parking lot of a gas station in late March. Sauro had informed police that his comments led to Alvarez producing a firearm and shooting at his vehicle.
