SARS-COV-2 NEUROINVASIVE - Coronavirus and your BRAIN
The virus is causing permanent neurological damage. It is neuroinvasive. Autopsy results indicate heavy infection at the brain stem. evidence/ sars-cov-2 autopsy results show infection which positive/negative and antibody testing will not show.

Infection of humans with the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) results in substantial morbidity and mortality, with death resulting primarily from respiratory failure. While the lungs are the major site of infection, the brain is also infected in some patients. Brain infection may result in long-term neurological sequelae, but little is known about the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV in this organ. We previously showed that the brain was a major target organ for infection.

Previous evidence indicating neurological damage and disease...rantapplicable to current coronavirus strains.

Re: SARS-COV-2 NEUROINVASIVE - Coronavirus and your BRAIN
“Furthermore, some coronaviruses have been demonstrated able to spread via a synapse-connected route to the medullary cardiorespiratory center from the mechanoreceptors and chemoreceptors in the lung and lower respiratory airways. Considering the high similarity between SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV2, it remains to make clear whether the potential invasion of SARS-CoV2 is partially responsible for the acute respiratory failure of patients with COVID-19. Awareness of this may have a guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of the SARS-CoV-2-induced respiratory failure.”

The “recovered“ who have been released have been tested through swabbing for positive or negative in their mouth and nose. They are likely still infected...CNS infection. General antibody testing is better than swab, but it will only confirm whether an individual has previously had a strain of coronavirus and antibodies. Most people have had some strain of coronavirus in their life. Until they develop a test for specific current strains antibody testing will be insufficient due to “noise” due to previous infection.

Research from 1992. Think!

Cerebrospinal Fluid Antibodies to Coronavirus in Patients With Parkinson's Disease
E Fazzini et al. Mov Disord. 1992

The etiology of Parkinson's disease remains unknown, and a search for environmental agents continues. In 1985, Fishman induced infection of the basal ganglia by a coronavirus in mice. Although coronavirus is recognized primarily as a respiratory pathogen in humans, its affinity for the basal ganglia led us to investigate its possible role in human Parkinson's disease. The cerebrospinal fluid of normal controls (CTL) (n = 18), and patients with Parkinson's disease (PD (n = 20) and other neurological disease (OND) (n = 29) was analyzed in a blinded manner by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay [measurements in optical density (OD) units] for antibody response to four coronavirus antigens: mouse hepatitis virus JHM (J) and A59 (A), and human coronavirus 229E (E) and OC43 (O). When compared with CTL, PD patients had an elevated (p less than 0.05) mean OD response to J (0.0856 vs. 0.0207) and A (0.1722 vs. 0.0636). Response (p greater than 0.05) to O (0.0839 vs. 0.0071) was greater than that to E (0.1261 vs. 0.0743). When compared to OND, PD patients had an elevated mean OD response to J (0.0856 vs. 0.0267, p less than 0.05). Responses (p greater than 0.05) to A (0.1722 vs. 0.0929) and O (0.0839 vs. 0.0446) were greater than that to E (0.1261 vs. 0.0946). These results suggest that there may be an association between coronavirus and PD.

Chemokine CXCL10 and Coronavirus-Induced Neurologic Disease
Dominic Skinner, Brett S. Marro, and Thomas E. Lane
Published Online:9 Jan 2019
[link to doi.org (secure)]

Abstract

Chemokines (chemotactic cytokines) are involved in a wide variety of biological processes. Following microbial infection, there is often robust chemokine signaling elicited from infected cells, which contributes to both innate and adaptive immune responses that control growth of the invading pathogen. Infection of the central nervous system (CNS) by the neuroadapted John Howard Mueller (JHM) strain of mouse hepatitis virus (JHMV) provides an excellent example of how chemokines aid in host defense as well as contribute to disease. Intracranial inoculation of the CNS of susceptible mice with JHMV results in an acute encephalomyelitis characterized by widespread dissemination of virus throughout the parenchyma. Virus-specific T cells are recruited to the CNS, and control viral replication through release of antiviral cytokines and cytolytic activity. Sterile immunity is not acquired, and virus will persist primarily in white matter tracts leading to chronic neuroinflammation and demyelination. Chemokines are expressed and contribute to defense as well as chronic disease by attracting targeted populations of leukocytes to the CNS. The T cell chemoattractant chemokine CXCL10 (interferon-inducible protein 10 kDa, IP-10) is prominently expressed in both stages of disease, and serves to attract activated T and B lymphocytes expressing CXC chemokine receptor 3 (CXCR3), the receptor for CXCL10. Functional studies that have blocked expression of either CXCL10 or CXCR3 illuminate the important role of this signaling pathway in host defense and neurodegeneration in a model of viral-induced neurologic disease.

There is so much I wish I could share. I can’t for a number of reasons. I encourage you all to use the time left to read the available scientific literature while you still can. I tried to provide some information which will help connect the dots.

THINK. Open your eyes!

Significance of Medical Intelligencea. At the strategic level, the objectiveof medical intelligence is to contribute to the formulation of national and international policy. The policy will be predicated in part on foreignmilitary and civilian capabilities of the medicalor biological scientific community.b.At the operational level, the objec-tive of medical intelligence is to develop HSSthat—(1)Counters the medical threat.(See FM 8-10 and FM 8-10-8.)(2)Is responsive to the uniqueaspects of a particular theater.(3)Enables the commander toconduct his operation.(4)Conserves the fighting strength of friendly forces.F-3.Sources of Medical Intelligencea. All medical intelligence is providedto the medical planner by intelligence organiza-tions. The medical planner must identify the intelligence requirements and provide that re-quest to the supporting intelligence element with-in the command or task force. In an emergency,up-to-date medical intelligence assessments canbe obtained by contracting the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center (AFMIC), FortDetrick, Maryland 21702-5004.
