odd fight.stylistically,gausha in defense looks too submissive.tactically,the game plan didnt adapt to the fight.

tszyu inflicted more damage,threw a lot more punches/gausha had his chance,probably didnt have the knockout power,and was out paced by tszyu.

bit of a nothing fight in the end.not sure what fight the judges were watching.

no regulations,just how fast can it go.

Yeah .. I'm addicted to watching Canelo fights.

He's so damn sound and TECHNICALLY excellent/good.

Very VERY well-coached, as is obvious from watching him over the years.

He has zero weaknesses, imho.

Only a master (DEFENSE) like Mayweather could make Alvarez look - slightly - deficient..

Extremely obvious that Garcia is only headhunting in this one. He's not out there to box ... he only wants that KO..

This one happens May 7 in LV at T-Mobile Arena.



Bivol has some skills, although Alvarez hits harder.

The above fight could be much more interesting than some might think..

Don't know anything about Bivol's chin, but his stamina seems excellent.

I'm sold on this one.

I predict it will go 12 rounds, especially if the Russian is on his best footwork/defense, and counters Canelo with rapid counter-punches.

Split decision win for the Mexican.

Ie, it will be a GREAT fight.

I think a 5'-8" Canelo may have problems going up to 175 for this one, when his 6-0" opponent is a natural at that weight.

Stamina-wise, I like Bivol over the Mexican. And Canelo may not(WILL NOT) have the same power at 175 that he carried at 154..

That degree of respect that Bivol shows Alvarez, will depend on his own assessment of his own chin vs the ring-perception of Canelo's power at 175..

This will be a great/close bout.

He is obviously strong, but he isn't a technical puncher (w/perfect technique).

He seems to maul his opponents with combinations, moreso than with any raw god-given power.

Joe Smith, Jr is a hard-hitter in his own right.

This bout should be brutal and hard-hitting.

The winner will have the best stamina.
