Based on your continued surveillance, do you think it'll be an impressive naked-eye comet by the month of May?

I'm hoping it's at least a magnitude -2.

I got to see Comet Hale-Bop and Comet McNaught when they swung around the inner solar system but my kid was too young to comprehend or appreciate the show they put on.

Now she's 27 and if she's anything like me now, she'll be blown away by seeing a comet with at least a magnitude of -2 (like Comet McNaught).

Back in 1999, in N. Illinois, I was lucky to witness the brightest and only Aurora Borealis I've seen in person... right over my head.

THAT was something I'll never forget.

My daughter was only 6 at the time and it was around 2AM and I couldn't keep her awake to witness it with me.

Now I live in Northeast Wisconsin, she in Milwaukee, and I keep track of the LIVE Aurora forecasts so that if we have a good chance for a good Northern Lights display I can try convincing her to make the 1:45 drive up to my place so I can show her how bad-ass it is to see in-person.

Anyways, I'll be tuned in to your broadcast tonight.
