For what it's worth, I wanted to let everyone know that I saw a meteor at approximately 9:40pm in TN. It was yellow, and streaked for about two and a half seconds.

Valid observations are so valuable. Im sure someones collecting random sightings, if not someone should be.

I just watched a video if another astronomer who said that the conet was supposed to be brightest from May 10th to the 15th. Is this true?

If so, that is kind of creepy, because the psychic from England in the 1600s, mother Shipton, said that the comment wood task by the Earth six times during the plague that wipes out much of the earth's population. Well, May 10th through the 15th is 6 nights!

It already happened during the Roman Empire, a comet passed so closely to earth that blocked the sunlight and was known as the year without a summer,ruined the crops and brought famine to Europe. At the same time the Black Death or plague came from Egypt was hitting the empire. Old coins have printed the comet on one of the sides.
