Lifeguards flagged down Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies to help remove a man on a paddleboard from the ocean, but the man defied their verbal commands for roughly 30-40 minute. When the man refused to come to shore, deputies called upon their patrol boat from nearby Marina Del Ray. The man came to shore when that boat arrived, and he was arrested on suspicion of disobeying a lifeguard and violating Gov. Gavin Newsom’s stay-at-home order. The only thing this guy could actually get in trouble for is being at the beach, since they're closed.

The guy wasn't doing anything wrong. Social distancing doesn't work if you break it to enforce it when it isn't necessary. In this case, it wasn't necessary. The guy wasn't putting others at risk, until THEY approached him.
