The FDA created the Thalidomide disaster to give themselves more power. Power that allows them to suppress cures.The early beginnings of the FDA were met with resistance which did not let them expand.
They then created the Thalidomide incident and also the Tylenol tampering incident to justify the FDA's existence. This gave them power. The FDA does not change with changing federal governments. THey are there to suppress cures and allow pharma to profit.
