I'm sure the cops there are quaking in their boots from all the people beating on pots, standing outside their apartments.

If people cannot fight, they are no threat. Sort of like money - if people don't control money, they can only bend over to those that do.

This looks like the basque country, there is a long history of nationalism there and this sounds like a protest. There were some "euskal presoak" flags which is an ETA thing (kind of like IRA) they are sure pissed to see the spanish military there. This is a "cacerolada" and its a protest
