How many people in the US will die from coronavirus?

Your numbers are based on a whole year, so they don't really matter yet. In one years time the number from this virus then compare to those numbers you have

C-19 is related to SARS and SARS had a fatality rate of 15%.

There was no history of C-19 (infection rate, spread, fatality) so everything is estimations on part of researchers.

Nothing says a virus of this nature couldn't have a fatality rate of 25%.

It doesn't take a mathematician to see how dangerous things could get possibly get.

Right now the US is over 9K deaths with over 325K reported cases and almost 17k recovered. That's a 2.8% death rate on reported cases. Obviously not all cases are reported so the death rate is lower than 2.8, but lets assume it's 1%, which is better than even S. Korea's death rate. As contagious as this is we can assume everyone will be infected with no mitigation so with a population of approx 325 million are 3 million deaths acceptable? I think not.

You don't sit on your butt and do nothing. At 3 million, everyone will have someone close to them die. I'm sure no one wants that.

At current death rate of 2.8 % if everyone gets the virus and it is not controlled, this is your number

Umm, pardon me, you seem to have forgotten a very important piece of the question. We count flu deaths year by year so for example if we are talking Jan. To Jan. I might expect 100,000 or more perhaps. Over the course of five years just like the flu the numbers could definitely go higher especially if they continue on overestimating the numbers.

I was only talking about total numbers, compared to the other numbers , your have to wait a year to compare them,. the Economy can be open now if people work smart and stay apart as best they can, wear mask to help , I mean only to help stop spreading I know it will not stop it. But if rules are but in place economy can be opened today.

So many agree this is most likely a biological weapon that escaped. So you have to ask yourself - why aren't more people dying? Your little graphic, though a bit of false analogy, because those deaths are spread out over an entire year, and not a 3 month period with concentrated hotspots, begs the question - wouldn't a biological weapon be much more deadly?

Well, if you remember some of the earlier "intel" posts on this, it was referred to as a "binary" weapon, and that the coronavirus was just the first part, the reagent, for a much deadlier sickness to follow. Isn't it weird how this is SO crazy infectious and communicable, yet the death rate is relatively low..? Why would they design something to infect so many people, without actually killing most of them?

Seems a lot of you have lost the narrative here, and are too busy defending poor, poor Trumpie from getting the blame. The virus is real, it's doing what it was intended to do for phase 1. Look at the date. That is from almost two months ago.

It's hard to catch something that doesn't exist. People have been brainwashed to fear the common cold. No accurate test exists for "covid19", the test just asserts that you have flu like symptoms and bam, you're now infected with "covid19", although a virus isn't a living thing and isn't contagious and doesn't even cause disease in the first place.
