It became severe lower resp infection, headaches and fever, then pnemonia. Recovering took a LONG TIME. My lungs would swell up and block my breathing. My mucus was like green glue in my lungs. Inhaler saved my life. Ive never experianced anything like this. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78715053 I thought I was better. Just today I had another breathing attack. Lungs closed and felt like there was something I couldnt cough out. I was driving home from town over while on the phone with my husband so he could meet me half way with inhaler. I almost didnt make it. I almost crashed multiple times. If I did have Covid19, Now I know why people havent recovered yet. I think it has caused me to have athsma. The cough never truly went away. I cant see how this Virus could be worse then the hell I went thru with this sickness and the multiple near death instances. Im a a 25 year old that is very healthy. I truly believe covid19 was going around before it was official. I agree with your assessment. I had a virus in Feb. which was tested and diagnosed as a "metapneumovirus." I had to have oxygen therapy for many weeks afterwards. I think it was really Corona. "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes" "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear" |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18972958 United States 06/04/2020 03:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I went to the emergency doctor for breathing difficulty from a lung infection in November, which continued until December. I pretty much never get a full-on cold or flu. I was prescribed an inhaler to help with the breathing difficulty. After a day or two, I found I was using it too much so I went to see my primary doctor (who I almost never see since... I pretty much never had health issues until November). He gave me a long lasting inhaler and told me to use it every twelve hours for 4-5 days. After using that, I didn't have breathing issues, which let me have a full night's sleep. After 3-4 full night's sleep that allowed my body to heal and I didn't use the inhaler at all again. You may want to look into it, but because those types of medicines are for chronic sufferers and my use was off-label, my insurance would not pay for it--I understand it is quite expensive. Luckily he had a sample and gave it to me. |

I truly believe covid19 was going around before it was official. I had the same thing first week of Feb, still have the intermittent dry cough. Started off with high fever and cough, then vomiting, then low grade fevers for weeks. Felt like my lungs were irritated for the past 4 months. Almost feels like an asthmatic cough. I am convinced it was COVID but a lot of people I know had the same thing and some tested for antibodies which were negative. So not sure, maybe COVID maybe some other respiratory virus. |

They gave me a $385 inhaler (Beriva of some shit like that) and that was AFTER insurance! I said no...fortunately got a sample from the doc, then gave me Symbicort cause the other stuff worked, but the Symbicort was way cheaper. I ave to use an Albuterol inhaler if I run. Sucks. |
