How else would you fix it? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77469809 Nothing much I can do if the pulp was rotten and removed, right...? I thought if the rot didn't reach the pulp, I wouldn't try to remove the filling and medicate the tooth, changing diet so that dentin can regenerate over time with proper remineralization. But I guess it's too late for that now...? |

There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT! -Men in Black |

You’ll regret the root canal. Lot of people with bum teeth and few options right now Let's hope that the stem cell teeth regrow tech will be available after the shit storm is over. ...or that we have the "DNA upgrade" according to some because of cosmic energy or something... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77865450 United States 04/05/2020 01:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So one of the pulp chambers of my teeth was rotting inside, after I got a temporary filling two weeks ago. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78510884 It's so bad that my jaw bone was starting to hurt. I went to the dentist, and the X-ray showed that the tooth decay has gotten through and the pulp was infected. Yes, it smelled like shit when drilled open. Shocking. Now that the pulp was cleaned out, but I'm not sure about the nerves in the root canals. I'm scheduled to have another 4~5 appointments in the following week(s). I read a lot about the dangers of root canal, and I'm not sure what I should do at this point. I did it because it was rotting inside, and I don't want to have an infected rotting tooth during SHTF, naurally. Should I continue to get it done? In this country it only costs me about $3 (due to public health insurance, which is a blessing), having the whole procedure done will only cost me no more than $30. Suggestions??? Yank it! People die from root canals, because, it's a dead part of the body and is supposed to be removed. So in age, when people's rotting teeth start to build up bacteria - it can lead to other sickness and ailments that are virtually untraceable (and can actually go away if root canal teeth are pulled). Yea, OP - research root canals and how bad they are.... You'll thank yourself later. Just get it pulled.... |

Use only and Endodontist,,,not your regular dentist,,,ask me how I know this. endodontists are specialists because they’ve completed an additional two or more years of training beyond dental school. Their additional training focuses on diagnosing tooth pain and root canal treatment |

Take a bag of organic potatoes and juice them and drink the juice. Taste like crap but is a fantastic natural antibiotic! Warning if you decide to drink it daily you'll have to mix it back up each day cause it tends to separate when in the refrigerator. Good luck. |
