Your tooth is made up of many many tubes, they can not clean the 'dead' flesh out of all of it, and they charge a fortune. Long term some organs and related health consequences will result. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78510884 It's so bad that my jaw bone was starting to hurt. I went to the dentist, and the X-ray showed that the tooth decay has gotten through and the pulp was infected. Yes, it smelled like shit when drilled open. Shocking. Now that the pulp was cleaned out, but I'm not sure about the nerves in the root canals. I'm scheduled to have another 4~5 appointments in the following week(s). I read a lot about the dangers of root canal, and I'm not sure what I should do at this point. I did it because it was rotting inside, and I don't want to have an infected rotting tooth during SHTF, naurally. Should I continue to get it done? In this country it only costs me about $3 (due to public health insurance, which is a blessing), having the whole procedure done will only cost me no more than $30. Suggestions??? Dangers of root canal? Lol Dont believe anything you read on the internet or here on godlike, lol I've had root canal 3 to be exact over many years First one was done over 20 years ago Nothing is wrong with me, nothing nad happened, lol No cancer, no heart disease, nothing The only side effect was my tooth stopped hurting and didn't need to be pulled Get the root canal When I did the first one 20 years ago it was a little painful When I did this last one I didn't feel a thing Get turn root canal and dont believe internet crazy want to be doctors If someone got cancer from it, it's because the root canal is what triggered their cancer cells Anyone can be triggered by anything Some get triggered by smoking Some drinking Some eating certain foods Just do it and quit believing stupid people |

In a matter of a week your tooth will be healed. Thank me later. Quoting: tfgio Cut out sugars, only eat organic fruits and vegetables. Cold pressed juices. Avoid meat and acidic foods as much as you can until your mouth heals. Terrible advice from a pansy vegan |

Please dont get a root canal. A tooth is a living organ. They can never get out all of the root. That and the tooth itself will be a rotting piece of flesh in your mouth. There is a very good doc that was done on this subject. I will try to find it. Long story short, this kinda thing causes major long term heath issues. Have the tooth removed and replace it with a high quality, non reactive metal/material implant. Demand to documentation on eveything they will use to install it. Get the SDS, Inserts, etc. Read read read. |

Andrew Alcott Hallett (August 4, 1975 – March 29, 2009)[1] was an American singer and actor who became known from playing the part of Lorne in the television series Angel (2000–2004). According to a 2005 interview, about a month after filming the last episode of Angel, Hallett suffered a dental infection which spread through the bloodstream to his heart, leading to a case of cardiomyopathy, for which he spent five days in the hospital.[7] Although he recovered, his heart muscle and valves were weakened and he found himself easily fatigued afterward. He did not return to acting (except for a voice part in the animated film Geppetto's Secret), but pursued his music career and frequently appeared at media conventions for Buffy and Angel and for science fiction and fantasy in general.[8] Five years after first experiencing heart problems, and after at least three additional hospitalizations, Hallett died from congestive heart failure on March 29, 2009 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles with his father by his bedside.[9] He was 33 years old. |
