I have a son working in corrections. NO visitor's. Inmates are locked down. Anything passed in and out of cell is wiped down. Prison is probably one of the safer places to be.

Lot's of ways. I had a friend in prison doing 5 years. He got a cell phone and called me directly from his cell. You get caught, you're ass is grass! Thank God he's out now.

I recently did 9 months in TDCJ and it always amazed me how the Blags always figured that the State of Texas was making money off dem.

They are always yelling at the guards "do your job". whenever they cant get whatever they want as quick as they want. Truly,living with Blags is the main punishment for un-blags in TDCJ.

Yeah, I realize these are criminals, but this is clearly a low security prison. The people there probably aren't violent criminals. They're there for a variety of reasons and while I believe they should serve their time, I also believe they should be treated humanely. It saddens me to see so many people acting like they deserve to die.

Not always the case. I am a Southerner, born in the South, and have voted Republican in every election since I was voting age. I also identify with the South, my family fought in the Civil War for the South, and also in the American Revolution as well...not to mention every major war since.

Yes, yes, I know the vast majority of KKK were card carrying democrats (the current modern Communist....cough Socialist, party). I also know history. The Civil War was not fought over slavery. It was over economics and resource control.
