The only question is if the strain is naturally occurring that they were studying or if they manipulated it or not. Allegedly the one referenced as 'bat woman', who seems to have (been) disappeared was doing the research on the naturally occurring virus's that bats carry. The story is that she and others became infected during their work. The lab they were based at lies a few hundred yards from the Wuhan wet market. If the virus occurred naturally in bats and was subsequently tweaked, I know not. |
