Jesus Christ people are used to throwing this shit around. First of all the reported number of rapes depends what sort of definition of rape you're operating with. Remember Assange? As far as I understand he was originally wanted for questioning for having sex without a condom without prior consent. Some Swede correct me if I'm wrong but I'm under the impression that's punishable offence over there.

Second the number of reported rapes depends if there's any point in going to police to report it. It's pretty much universal truth that the reported rapes in any country represent only the tip of the iceberg of rapes actually committed. What if the cops don't take you seriously or better yet just rape you themselves? I'm pretty sure in Russia there's no rape officially. In some Gulf states you get thrown in jail yourself if you go to the police. You'd have to be pretty fucking insane to claim that the situation there is better because of what the statistics tell you about it.

So for the most part the rape statistics are most likely an artifact of Sweden being sort of feminist country. Rape is taken seriously, therefore if you go to the police, there's decent chance they'll actually investigate and it's actually worth your while.

Sweden has 40 deaths per million. The US has 28 per million. I'm not sharing this to make some opinion of Sweden's handling of the situation versus the US's. Just showing that Sweden hasn't been spared as implied.

Don't be so fucking stupid. If you're unfortunate enough to require one, then yes it's a 50/50 chance - but that's not because of the ventilator - it's because of this fucking plague.

Swedens infections and deaths are way higher than other nordic countries which are the only ones comparable. Comparing to Italy, Spain etc. doesn't make sense due to bigger populations and different culture.

There has also been rumours about Sweden hiding the real numbers and spreading the releaseof them to a longer timespan to avoid panic.

Sweden's food reserves are so low they would only last a week in the case of a national emergency, experts have warned.

"Sweden has no food contingency. The level of self-sufficiency is low. Around 50 percent of what we consume is bought in from the EU, or imported from other countries outside the EU," Civilförsvarsförbundet chairperson Sven Lindgren told The Local.

"Sweden and Norway are the worst in Europe when it comes to agricultural production. But Norway, unlike Sweden, has extensive fish resources," he added.

It's estimated that neighbouring Finland by comparison is self-sufficient enough to survive for six months on its food stockpiles. Sweden got rid of its own contingency stockpiles at the end of 1990s when the tension from the Cold War eased, but with renewed uncertainty in the world, the Civilförsvarsförbundet has warned that emergency stocks should be brought back.

I live in a forest and its far between the houses here.
My life is pretty much the same as usual,im planting and preparing my greenhouse and making new spaces to grow more food.
I do have to go to town to buy some stuff maby once a week.(vodka,rom,beer)
Im the only one in town that wears a mask! It is suposed to be max 50 persons in the same location at a time,but at my grocery store parkinglot there where atleast 100 cars.
So i skiped it and I went to another store later in the evening .I was there all alone,that was realy sweet.
Nothing is missing in the store the shelves are full.
The only new now is big plastic windows between me and the casheir and markings on the floor that nobody cares about.
I hear that it is half dead in Stockholm (100 km from here),aparently most of the people chilling at home.
Personaly I think its gona go to hell big time here!

I knew about the virus in early January,i saw the fucking nightmare videos from Wuhan,my wife didnt listen in the begining,we had some enormous fights. Then she started to see reports in the msm and she started to listen to what i knew, we got the kids out of school early february.
The Kids get school via the computors, so we dont have to do all the schoolig during the days.They do learn to shoot a gun and make a fire and other stuff now that they dont learn in school.
Anyway Its going to be very interesting to see where this experimental country is going.
