We got out 5 years ago, knowing it would crash, too. What a cesspool downstate is. This is practically my case as well verbatim. Left NYS a lot earlier though, in 2005, seeing the writing on the wall after 9 11. Rochester NY used to have some of the most heinous traffic stop traps. They would put stop signs way to high, so your normal car headlights didn't catch it or reflect off the sign at night. The ONLY ticket I ever got was from a Stazi upsate New York Cop in Rochester because I couldn't see the stop sign in my coupe so I slowed and turned, and that was 30 years ago. Will never, ever go back to that shithole. |
