My guess is that, they will TELL US - a gigantic Corona Mass Ejection caused a nationwide emp.
Fried the electrics.
Most people will be helpless without electricity.
They will do anything to get it back.
Or, the AI experiment that they are doing now will be tested by "zapping" certain people to cause the virus fear to explode.
I mean, explode.
