so i went out today took a nice walk, came home, decided i wanted a burger from the burger joint just a block or two away, headed over there im in line 4-5 cars deep. this rough looking dude with a dog walks over to me, asks me for a couple bucks to get some food. i asked how you feed your dog if you dont have money to feed yourself - he said people give it to him. i asked if he had been laid off recently or something, he said he had been let out of jail for possession of heroin and that he had come to the town im in with a grey hound bus from another state over. i see he has a few bucks in his hand, ask him why he doesnt order the dollar menu stuff. tells me he wants some hamburgers - i get it, you're not actually hungry, you're just entitled.

so he starts calling me an asshole for being skeptical and says to hang on while he goes and gets his paperwork - for all i know he is coming back with a weapon. i was armed, as always. but decided against sticking around, this guy was clearly pissed at me for not just coughing up money. i dont have a dog because they cost MONEY - now these entitled bums all around think people will just roll over and cough it up.

the sucky thing is i took the long way around to park at home, since this burger joint is literally just 2 blocks or so away, so if im real lucky this dude might somehow stumble on me and there's gonna be problems.

my first mistake was evening talking to him at all. absolutely ridiculous the level of entitlement of these bums.

this is why i dont help homeless people. such crappy attitudes it is ridiculous. dude had money for food, he just wanted better food. cry me a river.

best thing to say is , sorry i dont carry cash, and roll it up... I agree having a dependent when you are not capable of independence alone is a tough pill. I think that trying to educate him on his predicament was probably always going to be fruitless, regardless.
