I am in Baton Rouge, LA. So far so good. Lots of people walking, kids riding bikes, skies seem lot clearer as well.

Go to stores, no one seems frantic, but I do see more with masks and taking precautions that they did not last week.

Here are our stats for our state.

Super small town here and doesn't seem to be slowing many down. I see a lot more people walking by in front of my house but car traffic seems the same as ever. These people just won't stay home. Local grocery gets cleaned out on the regular but I found an alternate store on my way home Friday from work. Will stop there next time I need some things.

seems okay people firing off fire crackers off to the south of us we are literally next to I95 here in Palm Coast, FL. There are some kids riding their bikes around here which is good. I would hate to be cooped up in the house all day. Went to the RaceTrac gas station down the street around this time yesterday and had to pay a pack of smokes thru the window I think 3 people where there working. There is still people driving around not sure what they are doing noting much to do here, but there has been discussion why Flagler beach hasn't opened since Volusia County has it open for some quick recreation.

Re: lots of doom posts, what is it like in your neighborhood?
Because I am 'essential' life has not changed much for me thank God. I have had everything I needed come to me pretty easily. Today I saw lots of people out. Fishing, walking, riding bikes...I went to a convenience store and Stop&Shop and both were easy experiences, got everything I needed. Stocked and I am a homebody anyway. New Jersey.

I have been working close to people without masks in a warehouse environment, no mask, no gloves, no sickness whatsoever. I can't remember the last time I had a flu shot. People 10 years or more younger than me are getting sick and taking advantage of the government handouts. They will soon live to regret this when they realize the money won't be there.

I consider myself blessed in these times. So many people will suffer while I, pretty much low to middle class am thriving. The whole thing is so strange for me.
