Police in Louisiana announce start or curfew with special siren from THE PURGE

Apparently, the way law enforcement alerted citizens in the town of Crowley was also unprecedented, and the chief of police says it won't happen again.

The chief said he knew it was used in the movie bu he had personally never saw any of The Purge movies.

I think he may be lying to cover his ass after people did not react like he expected.

So they announced a hog hunt?

They used to do that back in the 70's. That whole thing about watching the street light at dusk, usually around 7pm you knew to get home. Then by 9pm the city siren would ring a couple of times and you knew to be home,if not you were going to get questioned and or in trouble.
