Hits songs are what we are told are hit songs by the corporate execs and the only choices we get are the one from their own record label of autotuned political hacks. Bandcamp has a lot great music but no one knows where to find it since you have to sift thru all the badly recorded bedroom crap ...that was the job talent scouts back in the day..to find those bands that were worthy of the investment...they were the gatekeepers...the local stations got call ins from the kids and played it and if it took off locally then the talent scouts made sure it made it out nationally...that doesnt happen now.
