It is actually a bad thing that so many people experience no symptoms. It makes the virus easier to spread. That's the reason why controls at airports did nothing to stop the spread.

The problem with the virus is that 20% need hospitalization. Recovery in those cases takes a long time and the virus spreads very fast. That means hospitals get overwhelmed. Once Hospitals get overwhelmed, they can't be used to treat anything else. So if you have a heart attack, good luck getting a herbal treatment for it, because you won't get accepted in the ER. And without proper hospitalization those Many of the 20% with severe cases become fatalities. That's why NYC are talking about mass graves.

You are correct on two counts.

First, the simple one: Yes, type O blood is somewhat more resistant to COVID-19 than A, B, or AB. Similarly, mitochondrial haplogroup H is more resistant to sepsis (which is what actually kills COVID-19 patients) than other haplogroups.

But the more important point:

All healthy people know the experience of "fighting off" a cold. You sneeze a few times, you swallow often because your nose is producing more mucus; but your immune system "fights it off," perhaps with the help of zinc acetate lozenges. Within a day or just a few hours, those very minor symptoms are gone. In the process, your body produced some antibodies against the virus--not a lot, but enough. Note that about 20% of colds are actually caused by coronaviruses.

We are now seeing the same phenomenon with COVID-19. Some people successfully "fight off" COVID-19. If later tested for antibodies, those people appear as "weak positives."

By the way, my own personal suspicion is that zinc acetate lozenges (dissolved in the mouth, e.g. overnight) will be somewhat helpful against COVID-19 just as they are definitely helpful against the common cold.

Except you are only counting the asymptomatic when it supports your predetermined conclusion. If 90% are asymptomatic and 20% of known ill require hospitalization, only 2-4% of total infected require hospitalization.

Which is a pretty fucking ordinary number.

This was also the case on the Diamond Princess cruise ship. Majority of the infected had no or very mild symptoms.

The 20% number was just made up early on. It has not played out that way.

yup..as time goes on the Flu and CoVid-19 have basically the same symptoms....even spring alergies if bad will have most of the same symptoms.....though 80% of those testing positive have very mild if any symptoms....and of those 20% most will be sick like the flu to a bad flu.
of that <10% that go to the hospital....and go on a ventilator 80% will die....almost like the ventilator is causing those lungs to rip apart by the force they are running at.

Same here had a telehealth appt. yesterday and my doc said the same about GI symptoms. Was also told by Dr. many cases will never be reported and cause of death, is Covid19 regardless of heart attack, stroke, etc. There is no time to test the cadavers or do autopsies.

They can make the test positive on negative whatever they want to make it.
