I'm not gonna get one, but my brother in law said that he got his earlier this week. He's a vet, and in one of their residence programs so not sure if that's why he got it earlier. I don't see why he would lie, and he and my sister are arguing about the division of it now for their kid..they are separated

I know what my parents total assets are and there’s no way they should get a dime. Same with other people I know. It is my understanding they are releasing payments by income. Lowest incomes get theirs first. Each week they go up in increments. According to that system, I won't see mine for another 2-3 weeks.

If the money shows up, great. If not, life goes on. I don't consider it belonging to me in the first place, so I'm not pinning any hopes on it.

I suggest you do the same.

Most of our coworkers got their first payment today as well.

We will be using it to stay on top of our mountain of responsibilities considering we have only got 3 minimal unemployment payments as our only income in nearly a month.

Even with the stimulus and regular unemployment we do not earn nearly as much as we did when we were allowed to work.
