Anyone get a stimulus in their account yet?

LOL there are lots of leftists of various flavors on this site so no, you're wrong. Also, I assure you I am paying much much more taxes per year than $1200, so instead of 65 IQ ghetto scum getting it to help them breed more future criminals and parasites I am getting a slight refund.

We first applied around the 19th of March, we are restaurant workers and it was about 2 days after gov shut them down. It took about 2 weeks to get our first payment because they needed addl info regarding our last day at work which was that Sunday and they had thousands of requests to process so naturally it took a bit longer.

Checked the unemployment website this afternoon and there is nothing on there regarding the stimulus payment.


Thanks. I am wondering if your UI website account had the qualifying stuff filled in or if it still shows pending. Not the stimulus info. My UI still shows pending.

Where do you think the government gets it's income from? The state produces no wealth, it only extracts it through fines, licensing and taxation.

It's like saying Social security is a government handout, even though we all are forced to pay into it every pay cycle.

The first direct deposits go out tomorrow on the 9th until the 14th.
Everyone who has a bank account will have money no later than the 15th.

People with no verifiable bank accounts will get mailed theirs after and that process will go until September. This was announced in ALL the major newspapers yesterday. You can google it too.

Same. Applied Monday for CERB self-employed and it dropped into our account this morning. Less than 3 days! In Ontario, Canada.

Got my $2000($1425 USD) Canada Emergency Response Benefit today. The wife and kids still working so we are in a good position at this point. We try and help anyone who asks, just bought some groceries(small basics) for someone who asked on a Facebook group.

I agree. However, since I've been FORCED to pay into the "system" since I began working; the last 40 fucking years. I don't see it as a "handout". I see it as a return of investment.

I'd rather the state give it back to working families, who actually earned the wealth.

I agree, to a point. The FRN has been so devalued over the last several decades, that it's purchasing power is almost gone. That means a lot of people are living pay-check to pay-check and do not have the disposable income to save or invest.

Also, schools no longer teach economics, so it requires an above average IQ, and attention span to self educate.

Wife lost her restaurant job almost a month ago. I lost my 2nd job last month as the place closed up shop because of this crap.

I have had the same 2nd weekend job 16 years, paid on a 1099 not a w-2 so no help for me, My state says I can get help but the unemployment does not even give me an option to file. State unemployment phones don't work and the website crashes.

Wife received her first State unemployment check, a bit over $200. She can make that a day if she was able to work. That $600 per week fed money is not showing up.

I run a very small business during the week as a sole proprietor, no employees, just me and make just enough to get the bills paid every month.

My business is dead, I can't get my needed products, can't even get my suppliers to call me back as customer service is working from home is all I am told.

That $1,200 check is gone 3x over if it came today.

We just need to be able to work....

Never rely on your government to bail you out. I would gladly accept any amount they want to send my way, but I make sure I have a cushion so I don’t rely on a federal government rescue. They don’t exactly have a great track record on being speedy in times of need.
