Anyone struggling to eat has clearly never been hungry before. The objective is to be full. Even if that means eating things you normally don't like. If you can hold it down, it's good enough.

Last night I just made biscuits and browned some ground beef and put it in some gravy. Simple, cheap, easy, filling.

And if you remain picky and food shortages keep up you will learn.

If you're literally "starving" you'd eat food out of someone's garbage. You'd eat your hand if it was so bad. Quit being picky.

Ordered instacart groceries and had them delivered 2 days ago. Only 3 items on my list were out of stock and they were able to replace all 3 with similar items of a different brand.

Houston suburbs are well stocked except for toilet paper, paper towels and sanitizers. If you go when it opens you can get those items before they sell out.

I normally do online ordering even before this happened. When I order online now they say they don't have a lot of the items. But if you go in person they are all there.

Why don't you go to the store yourself, all the ones near me are almost fully restocked.

My son and his wife are doing the box food orders and haven't had any issues either. They say it's better than going to the grocery store.

Food is the least of your worries. As humans we are omnivorous. That means we eat almost anything. If worst comes to worst bugs and worms and sprouted seeds will keep ya going indefinitely. The weather is your enemy if it comes to that. Mass migration anyone?
