This is all BS.

Our stores have everything low not just meat low.

The hours are cut and no workers got sick.

People that got 50 pounds of bacon

for a basement freezer did it a month ago.

People that are poor didn't buy more.

We still do not have enough food to sustain.

Something doesn't seem to add up.

Heard on national radio today that Costco is now limiting meat to 3 items per customer...

Our freezers are stuffed, but it still makes me uneasy. Protein is one of the biggies for health and vigor, and I think we are going to see serious shortages soon.

Consider the toilet-paper wars in recent months... how will people act when they cannot get meat?

'Deep Trouble' For Arizona Dairy Industry As Demand For Milk Drops 50%

Mark Killian with Arizona's Agriculture Department said it's the same here in Arizona where demand for milk has dropped 50% since the shutdown.

"We have dairymen in this state that are in deep trouble. I mean real trouble," Killian said.

And, Arizona's farmers tending to crops, he added, "are growing produce that they've had to just let sit in the field. It has impacted us."

Sounds like cleaning is take a bit longer than originally planned.

WILKESBORO, NC. – After initial testing for the coronavirus (COVID-19) at Tyson Foods Inc.’s chicken processing plant in Wilkes County, NC, indicated the majority of the positive cases in the community were linked to an outbreak there, the company reportedly suspended operations for three days to deep clean and sanitize the facility. Processing is expected to resume May 12.

Food Inflation
Meat Shortages and Skyrocketing Prices May Blindside Consumers Over the Summer

By Memorial Day meat supplies at retail grocery store could be 30% lower, with prices for both pork and beef 20% higher than those paid just one year ago.

That projection is part of a just-released analysis by CoBank lead economist Will Sawyer, who says as communities begin to reopen across the country there remains only about a one-week supply of meat in cold storage.

It doesn't matter where people eat. It shouldn't have made a difference if kids were eating lunch at school or home. Or family eating at a restaurant or home. So, why has food not been harvested to go to a produce outlet if nothing else?

They can tell you where a head of lettuce came from to track for e-coli but they can't figure out how to direct traffic from areas that are well stocked to areas where there are shortages? BS. The food shortages are being engineered.
I went to a grocery store today. Not a big chain but an independent grocer and it gets worse every week. The things they are out of they have continued to be out of.

Here are the shortages I've seen:
Butter
Cheeses
Chicken Thighs with skin and bone, same with the breast.
Hamburger shortages and high prices
Dog Food
Dry Beans
Canned veggies except tomatoes they seemed plentiful
Rice
Packaged macaroni, rice dishes and Hamburger Helper and pasta type stuff.
Paper products including napkins.
Sugar
Flour
Bread

It makes me very nervous because I know it is gradually getting worse.
I've been pricing a/c units and they are sold out in many models and don't know if or when they can be re-stocked.
You'll notice where the shortages are when you need to find something you don't normally buy when it comes to bigger items or home goods.
