It doesn't matter where people eat. It shouldn't have made a difference if kids were eating lunch at school or home. Or family eating at a restaurant or home. So, why has food not been harvested to go to a produce outlet if nothing else?
They can tell you where a head of lettuce came from to track for e-coli but they can't figure out how to direct traffic from areas that are well stocked to areas where there are shortages? BS. The food shortages are being engineered. I went to a grocery store today. Not a big chain but an independent grocer and it gets worse every week. The things they are out of they have continued to be out of.
Here are the shortages I've seen: Butter Cheeses Chicken Thighs with skin and bone, same with the breast. Hamburger shortages and high prices Dog Food Dry Beans Canned veggies except tomatoes they seemed plentiful Rice Packaged macaroni, rice dishes and Hamburger Helper and pasta type stuff. Paper products including napkins. Sugar Flour Bread
It makes me very nervous because I know it is gradually getting worse. I've been pricing a/c units and they are sold out in many models and don't know if or when they can be re-stocked. You'll notice where the shortages are when you need to find something you don't normally buy when it comes to bigger items or home goods.
