Sometimes I catch myself thinking “damn, I thought we were basackwards.” The good people of Kentucky won’t let this fly. Maybe Louisville, maybe Lexington, maybe Frankfurt and Florence. What peopl and politicians fall to realize is that we’re not talking about city’s here. We’re talking about a whole state of country ass rednecks. I would advise caution if you want to rile them up. Make no mistake they will fight. |

Quoting: Daniel Higdon Kentucky To Record License Plates At Church Services, Quarantine Car Occupants Kentucky State Police will record the license plate numbers of cars in church parking lots for in-person services and turn the owners’ names over to local health departments, which will issue 14-day quarantine orders, according to an April 10 press release from the governor’s office. [link to thefederalist.com (secure)] Wonder how they will enforce the 14 day quarantine orders? Will there be police officers posted outside the residence of those church going "criminals?" Fire the governor. |

Hard to believe the good people of Kentucky elected their current fascist pos governor. They didn't. He was elected via massive voter fraud. |

Also though, this virus doesn't just hit the people who initially get it, it's extremely contagious. That said, Beshear never said anything about Drive-Thru services, and he said that if people are still maintaining social distancing and acting according to the CDC guidelines they could still do outdoor services in their parking lot or whatever in cars. The problem is the 7 or so churches in Kentucky who don't plan to hold drive-thru services, the problem are the ones who want to hold services inside the church with no way to maintain 6ft of social distance. He has chided "drive thru" and parking lot services before because people weren't doing it right. They had their windows down, were passing collection plates inside and outside of cars and sitting outside of their cars in chairs close to each other. I didn't vote for him and I really don't give a shit what others do, but I'm not of the opinion that my personal safety should end just because people can't stay home either. I know someone who has personally died from this virus. He was 40 years old, healthy (other than the virus) no previous medical history, no comorbidities, and he got Pneumonia and died in a Lexington hospital weeks ago. My mother died last month (not from covid) and we couldn't even hold a legit funeral for her because of all the guidelines and social distancing. If I can't bury my mother in peace with a real funeral, then why the hell do people get to go to churches, mosques, temples, etc., and further the spread of this bullshit with no repercussions? If they want to gather in large crowds, inside a building, and not stay home, then let them quarantine. And no, he's not just going after Christians, it's ALL FAITHS being asked to not gather together Easter Sunday/this weekend to try to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. I love the smell of coffee and Witchcraft in the morning. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66285793 There are about 3 Muslims in Kentucky. The state is 99% Christian, Baptist and Catholic. The Governor and the Louisville mayaor know that Easter is time when people do want to come to together in their faith. Louisville is heavily Catholic but also has a Christian mega-church that is nicknamed "Six Flag over Jesus" due ot size and campus. |

He has put most of the state out of work. Provided an unemployment system that doesn't work so people can't get paid. If you are out of work due to COVID you automatically get food stamps and medicare. So half the state is on the government tit. He's turned this place into a socialist wet dream. He destroyed the record job growth and GDP that Bevin established in the state in less time it takes for cAndy to cash his abortion clinic campaign donation check. _______________________ |
