In fact the trucking company I work with reported a number of their drivers testing positive for Covid-19, it was sent out as a fleet message to all their drivers. So is the company I work in on the fake news too? lol come on people.

Also received a message just recently they ordered thousands masks for their drivers and will be made available for drivers at the different company operation centers.
Not making this people, it was a fleet message sent to all the trucks.

<-Trucker owner operator , i parked my rig 3 weeks ago, was not fun anymore, my wife works in healthcare and brainwashed me. Two weeks prior that i didn't use truck stop showers or rest stop washrooms, urinated and defecated in bushes on the side of the roads, wash myself with wipes like in army, took food from home, i have fridge in truck, used gloves disinfectant when fueling.
When we all stop your grocery store gets dry in hours, i partially agree with you , if this virus is real, there's a high risk of contamination among truckers, can't stay away from truck stops at least to fuel up and travel centers are used by thousands of people every day, waiting in line for dirty washroom, shower, perfect place for cross contamination.
I have friends still on the road , stuck in the other corner of the country,looking at load boards freight volume plunged 40% over past two weeks, hard to find loads to get home, reefer loads/foods are still moving but less loads.

I have been OTR 7 years and never seen it this bad but that's what happens when your shut down the entire country.

Saw a couple loads out of Phoenix pop up for $0.80-$0.90 a mile going east, they were gone within a couple minutes.
