"He was prescribed Hydroxychloroquine but it wasn't filled due to not being FDA approved!? "

*********************

This drug was approved for use by the FDA many years ago........and approved for "off-label" use immediately for use with CV19. Over 6,000 doctors nationwide are currently having good results with it. It is an immuno-suppresant......which helps stop cytokine storm. The additional anti-biotic helps get rid of bacterial pneumonia.

Just a reminder that 1918-19 pandemic killed young adults very quickly...........from cytokine storm. There own immune systems killed them.

If you live up north.......your immune system gets weak and poorly regulated during the winter due to lack of sunshine......so you should supplement yourself with Vitamin D3 during the winter months.

Therapeutic D3 Blood level is 40---70ng/ml. Most people drop down to around 10 to 15 by March.......way too low.

Re: 30 Year-Old, Healthy Co-Worker Dies From COVID-19 Complications...
Was he very very healthy? ie the type to use steroids and performance enhancing drugs? for increasing athletic performance and physical fitness?

I have a theory that people who have used certain types of metabolic enhancement hormones or drugs like epo accelerate the spread of the virus in their bodies, somebody uses epo for example for high oxygen blood replenishment and higher than normal blood cell turnover may have actually put themselves in high risk groups.

Elite athlete cyclists, rowers etc and explosive weightlifters and possibly boxers/kickboxers brazilian jujtisu practitioners would fit this bill.

There have been quite a few high level athletes who have died, a female swimmer was one of them, it would make sense she would be using PEDS like EPO, or inhalation steroids.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78782841

If this theory is correct we might find that population in high altitude could be very badly affected by this, so places like peru could have high death tolls.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78782841

Peruvians are biologically well adapated to high altitudes.

Colorado would be a better indicator.

The blood clots are being seen in covid patients according to my sis who is a nurse on the front lines.

Problem is in some patients, even when a clot busting drug is used, the cots come back and the entire system becomes a clotted mess, till you die.

So it could very well be covid. It effects different folk in different ways.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78140837

This is beginning to be recognized as one of the more lethal complications of Covid-19 and specially being reported by Nurses who see it happening and feel absolutely powerless by how quickly it can onset and kill the patient.

We are all in the same boat, so we need to better understand this damned killer biological nanomachine.

This article is very cautious but the bottomline is that the virus causes abnormal blood clotting and also cardiopathy by attacking the ACE2 receptors in the miocites (cardiac muscle cells). So the "it's just the flu" crowd can go fornicate themselves.

[link to www.idse.net (secure)]
 Quoting: Red Hot Chilean Pepe

ACE2 is the ticket, yes; that's angiotensin converting enzyme 2 - ACE2...

I've spent a few hours researching this one, even down to the point of downloading my own DNA sequence and comparing my own genetic predisposition to the COVID-19 coronavirus by analyzing base pairs along the 23rd chromosome...

spock

This virus is DOWNRIGHT FUCKING NASTY from a biological perspective; the whole "ACE2" thing is very critical to a large range of important processes...all the way down to molecular levels. I'll post a nice list a bit later, you'll be amazed...

(And yes, haters and hoaxtards can most certainly go fornicate themselves...hopefully contracting COVID-19 in the process.)

He was on a ventilator but that didn't save his life.
 Quoting: AkashicRecord®

Apparently, the use of ventilators instead of other ways to get oxygen into a person may have made things even worse.

That's not too different from how the medical industry (at least in the past) and the food industry (still today) tout "low fat" or "non fat" as the reason food is supposedly less fattening or supposedly ideally low caloric. Or that bullshit instead of focusing on the effect of carbs/sugars.

Notice how few to no products promote "low sugar" or "reduced sugar?"

Moreover, the fake sugars that food producers do love to use are known to cause negative side effects and, even worse, have been shown to not be even helpful in allowing people to not gain, much less lose weight.

Big scams in a world where common sense and integrity are often treated like major nuisances.

Hey, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, how are things going?

Technically you never die of a virus you shill. You die from organ failure caused by the virus. If he didn't get the virus he wouldn't have developed the clot that eventually killed him therefore yes he died of coronavirus.

RIP, but what are you truying to tell?

Last time I read about a young previously healthy man who died from the flu was this january (Oslo).
Flu actually is affecting yopung people more than this Covid-19 it seems so far.

This person is one of the youngest in my state to die from this virus as he was only 30 years old and passed on Saturday. He was the younger brother of a teacher that works at my (closed) school, and he did some after school gym activities a few days out of the week. He was a personal trainer and was healthy and in good shape.

I didn't know he died until noticing his picture on the front page of today's newspaper; his sister contributed his photograph. His bout with the virus lasted from March 24 through April 11 before he succumbed to multiple organ failure quite rapidly. He was on a ventilator but that didn't save his life.

He was one of the rare cases where having a stellar immune system made the situation worse than what would be considered a "normal" response...

Furthermore, it was mentioned that a pharmacy refused to fill an anti-malarial drug prescription because of FDA approval issues, and he was also told to continue to stay home, essentially denying him early hospitalization...both factors may have saved his life!

And that is the thing. I have friends all over the place and connections and we don’t know people personally who have died from it either. People are getting sick but the majority are recovering. My relatives nursing home got hit with a bad flu but none came up covid. And there were no mass deaths either. I just think this thing is hyped and people are mainly dying from preexisting conditions and obesity. Those are the main ones who have been dying in NYC. It would have been nice during the flu season to post how many were dying so people wouldn’t think this is so out of the ordinary.

Maybe the liberal Gov of your state tried to suppress the use of the drug for CV19?

They stress out their adrenals. And many times their thyroid with their Type A exercising. They may look healthy from the outside but the inside tells a very different story. Too much exercise is just as bad as too little. But athletes do seem to have a higher death rate than none. They push their bodies too much.

The pharmacist should be charged. If a doctor writes a prescription, it is the pharmacist's job to fill it, not to make judgements about the medical necessity of the drug.
