NY man arrested for going to the hospital looking for corona virus treatment, coughs and gets arrested for it

A New York man was busted for coughing at a Connecticut hospital while claiming that he’d tested positive for the coronavirus, authorities said.

Robert Gordon, 30, of the Bronx, was charged with five counts of first-degree breach of peace stemming from a dispute Saturday night at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, the Waterbury Republican-American reported.

Gordon told staffers that he had tested positive for the virus in New York.

Gordon was released on a promise to appear in court, though no date has been set for his next appearance.
