Our Sun's half Jovian sized dark star companion generates five comet swarms that somewhat periodically pass through the inner solar system. Earth appears threatened by multiple (5 - 7) major impacts at relatively specific periods between 2009 AD and 2160 AD. Earth's surface may be reformed by a either one or a series of impacts circa 3823 AD.
A theory has been proposed that accurately predicts the orbits of our solar planets as well as the orbits of planets (and tiny stars) in nearby star systems. This theory postulates that our solar system was formed with the aid of a solar companion star named Vulcan by the ancients. Vulcan is estimated to orbit the Sun with a period slightly less than 5000 years. Vulcan draws comets from the Kupier belt and they occasionally pass through the Earth's orbit with disastrous consequences (e.g. causing Noah's flood). A dark body (that could be Vulcan) has been detected by the IRAS satellite. The IRAS measurements and data from other sources have been utilized to determine the orbit and mass of Vulcan.

How dangerous are the asteroids?

The collisions of these objects with Earth are basically random events, but still we have some idea how often they happen.

Localized destruction happens every couple of hundreds of years and is somewhat equivalent to a hydrogen bomb. Last such event happened in 1908 near Tunguska river in Siberia. The number of casualties depends on the place of impact (the objects of this size usually explode in the air before reaching the ground, just like an atom bomb). If a city is struck, casualties could be close to a million, while Tunguska event had zero to one reported casualty (reports vary). An impact in the ocean would create a tsunami and definitely produce significant destruction on the nearby seaside. These events usually do not leave a crater and typically involve a 100-meter asteroid or comet.

This kind of thing is why I believe you have to be ready to let go at any time of your tenuous hold on this life.

I almost died before, and I'll tell you it's not easy letting go. But you have to. And you should think about it in advance as it is quite a shock.

When it happened to me I was young, and obviously I made it. But I can never forget how it made me feel to be in a position of having to let go but not being ready.

If it's not an asteroid, then it's a comet. If not a comet then a car accident. Or cancer. You don't see it coming but you need to get ready. Because you can go underground but at some point you will stay there. You can't outrun death. In the end it will overtake you, that is the one certain thing we all know is real.

Why was it necessary to have 65,000 National Guard troops in DC on January 20, Inauguration Day? This was an invasion of DC by troops loyal to President Trump, reporting to President Trump directly. No more rich bankers. Since these are federal funds, any education loans can be interest free. The Kasarians will be stripped of their income.
