People are getting sick of hearing about this virus. We are being forced to live with it, even if we don't have it.

The media and any talking heads, push 24/7, response measures, they want the public to take.

Remain at home, no work or travel unless essential, blah, blah, blah....

People just want to live their lives.

This virus response shouldn't take center stage.

It appears to be overblown fear porn and nothing adds up.

Most people dying were already ill and elderly to begin with. This segment of the population has always been at high risk for mortality. Nothing has changed in that regard.

Now all of the sudden, everyone is afraid of death, afraid of the Covid and willing to give up American freedoms to kowtow to measures that seem to be draconian and totalitarian.

Certainly NOT American.

Enough is enough.

At least some people are seeing things clearly.

People are going to go back to work and if necessary, will fight for the right to do so. It is already happening.

People need to feed their families and social handouts are not the answer.

This Covid epidemic is sparking social unrest.

Something has got to give soon.

What is next?

Is this the new American way of life? I don't want it.

Yeah.

Patience is wearing thin for some.

The staggering waste of food crops and food product is going to hit eventually too, in various ways.

That alone will cause collapse of some businesses, and likely has already. Those that survive, will escalate food shortages as they seek new inventory. Inventory that right now is being covered with dirt, and the consumer will pay more as the food industry struggles to compensate for the supply and demand.

I can foresee the possibility of a domino effect taking more out even if things start to normalize.

I don't know....I just know I have never been to Kansas and we arent' there now. Nor do I own a dog named toto.

That was the plan all along. Make us kill each other and then say it's not their fault because they tried to save us from the virus...

Coronavirus: Why is NYC reporting surge in virus deaths? [link to www.yahoo.com (secure)]

From the comment section.....

"Knot Me9 hours ago
There are unintended consequences to locking people up at home. The hospitals in my state are 40% empty where they used to be 90% full. Where did all those patients go? What kind of care are they missing out on? I'd say several of these are victims of the "Stay at home" orders rather than the virus itself. But they've made this a huge deal and need a high death count to justify all the lockdowns and this is an easy way to pump them up."
