Comet Atlas was the Blue Kachina. When it collides with Comet Swan it will cause a chain reaction, being that the two comets are made of different compositions, it will cause a reddish explosion and your Red Kachina is born. With the path change, it will headed straight towards Earth and right up all your arses.
