Herd Immunity is not even a scientific theory. It's just a concept. A concept has no grounded in the scientific method. It is by extension a conjecture.

Besides, applying the concept of herd immunity to vaccinations is jumping to conclusions because vaccinations do not work in the same immunological way as natural immunity, immunity via natural exposure. Herd immunity is highly controversial within the medical community. This is one of many reasons there are so many anti vaxxers.

Again, Herd Immunity is just a CONCEPT according to both the CDC and the WHO. Look into it.

You put too much stock in the physicians and too little in your self. 1st let me mention to everyone, the Hippocratic oath is simply "a tradition" among graduates. It is in no way legally binding. It is only binding to the person that chooses to uphold it. That's it plain and simple.

Next, nobody, and I mean nobody can force another individual to take a vaccine, PERIOD. If you truly believe you must "legally opt-out" of taking something already against your wishes, you almost deserve to get it. Every one of us is hard-wired to be self-preserving. If someone were to tell me I must get the vaccine, I simply and clearly state NO and that is the end of it as far as I am concerned. Any further physical attempts to make me cooperate will be met with 10 fold force against it.

In California, we can not opt out for these reasons. We can not opt out for religious reasons. Now, even a doctor recommendation is reviewed at the state level with the doctor's license on the line if their recommendation isn't medically verified.

The vaccine schedule in order for children to attend public schools is insane, and Californians can only avoid this if they home school their children, and that is under attack as well.

Vaccinations should remain the decision of the patient and nothing more. The idea of forced vaccinations as it pertains to herd immunity is not scientific (theory based), but merely based on an idea or concept.
