By then, the virus had invaded many communities unimpeded, and any chance that the US had at containing its spread had virtually vanished. Either way, the CDC should be held accountable but there is a big difference between false positives and infecting people. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78537041 United States 04/20/2020 02:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Disagree with OP's interpretation that this was deliberately spread. Nothing in the article suggests that the tests spread the virus. It was the reagent that was possible contaminated. Reagents are used AFTER the swab is done is my understanding. All this article proves is that when it comes to the fed bureaucracy, they feel that they are the be all and end all when it comes to being the "experts". They aren't. That's why we don't need government run healthcare. There are many lazy entitled fed workers in the country and they exist in healthcare too and it doesn't surprise me one bit to see them taking "shortcuts" when working. Some do it because they are lazy, some do it because they are clueless and just didn't think. Happens in every industry all around the country. The DIFFERENCE IS in the PRIVATE SECTOR your ass will get fired if you don't shape up. Fed workers don't have to worry too much about that. Thank God Trump found out about this and got the PRIVATE SECTOR involved in the making and testing process. If it was up to the Fed bureaucracy to save us, we would all be dead. |
