Yes, California. I can hear the traffic myself. My wife just noticed it, and she's usually not attentive to that sort of thing.

I only mention this because it's got the attention of a lot of the locals living adjacent to the base. They've been near that base for years and wouldn't bother to comment if it were not remarkable in some way.

I just read about li'l Kim in NK, and in that context, it feels a little ominous at the moment. Probably just standard operations because of the unstable and unpredictable situation unfolding in a hostile country with nuclear capabilities.
