Got layer hens (one faked me out and is a rooster!), planted 70 tomato plants, squash and have other plants ready to go out soon, and built a grape arbor, planted grapes, mulberry, plum, passion fruit, kiwi, raspberries, blackberries, pomegranate.
Painted the shed roofs, also had to build the run and coop for the chickens.

I keep ordering seeds when and where I can find them. I don't trust a damn thing in the news.

No laying around here, plus the storm the other night knocked down a huge tree and that has to be cleaned up, about a weeks worth of work there.

Oh and last night I ordered a worm bin and am going to be composting for worm castings. I'm tired of paying a fortune for them commercially. Wish me luck on my new 1000 pets. lol

Besides the local pubs closed. It's been business as usual. My business has remained open, drove to S.C. this am...prepping a yacht now. We open back up in a few days down here. Never did get any trumpbux though..oh well. Stay safe. They're making us down here the guinea pigs for reopening. See how that rolls out.

Working from home has been a lifesaver in getting ready. Laying in more preps and I've been prepped for awhile. Now I'm focused on makinga place for loved ones. The garden is huge this year. The chickens are fat. I've lost my COVID-19 lbs working my ass off.

Great post. The limbo is driving me absolutely insane. Everything is telling me to be on red alert and Its hurry up and wait.

We put in a huge garden with a whole plot of potatoes
Preparing our canning set up
Built a rabbit pen and got some rabbits
Expanded our chicken coop 15 hens and a rooster
Took a Ham radio course, got my ham radios set up
Set up a security perimeter and prepared 2 more layers if things get worse
Ordered and hung topographical maps of my immediate neighborhood and larger town
Planted fruit and nut trees and berry bushes a few years ago. They should produce this year

These is more Ive forgotten. Its been a busy few months

I'm just trying to enjoy it personally.

I'm doing some light trading but honestly, it's more out of a sense of needing to do something 'productive'. Money is going to change in a few years anyway.

Really I find it interesting just to watch the world slowly implode on itself at the moment. I've prepared as much as I am able at this point, really I feel like it's just waiting it out until society runs out of steam and the day to day starts to get affected. It'll take a while though so there is no rush I feel.

My personal take is that no battle plan survives contact with the enemy. Could loose everything in one day. You got to remain adaptive but other than that, you have to just take it day by day at this point. Trying to figure out what comes next is only viable in the short term. The long term consequences of what is happening are a complete mystery to all.

We forget sometimes that there are saints living among us.
When we meet them, we are reminded, not just of the presence
of pure divinity right here on earth, but also of our own potential,
and of the responsibility we have to try to live up to it ~
for our own sakes and for the very future of this planet.

Watching Netflix and playing video games. It's oh so difficult but someone has to do it. It's so oppressive I feel the need to protest to reopen everything. I can't take it much longer. Oh the humanity.

I'm homeschooling my kids. This whole situation has made me realize that as a wife and mom, I love to stay home taking care of my family! I love to teach my children, clean my home and cook warm meals every night for my husband who is still working. Its been tough financially, but the time I'm spending with my family is priceless. I feel like my marriage is better for it too

I'm enjoying the quiet.

Have you actually just sat still and listened?

There are less cars on the roads, less movement, less chaos.

You can actually hear the birds.

BTW..that's "lamentations". Unless you're heat coating their women in melted plastic then its lamination.

Re: What you all doing with your time in the limbo period?
Helping grandchild with distance learning schoolwork. Trying to find a new job. Trying to settle into to new residence. Dealing with an alcoholic ex-son in law, which is why I had to move otherwise my grandson would not be able to progress to the next grade since our liberal governor refuses to open things back up.

Lost my job where I lived previously because I had a low grade fever, local health department refused to test, and my employer wouldn't allow me to return to work even with PPE nor would they pay me beyond PTO. Still have the low grade fever 5 weeks later due to chronic sinus issues. Tele-health would not prescribe antibiotics.

The new residence is a whole other beast (70's trailer). Literally, one of two places available to rent at the time I relocated two weeks ago.

It's a lot at the moment. I'm overwhelmed. I'm alone. I could really use some prayers if anyone is willing.

Doing a lot of power yoga, pilates, and getting in great
shape. Have a great garden started! Planting all sorts of
medicinal herbs. Fermenting lots of food: kefir- water and
milk, Kombucha tea- 2nd fermentations. Sauerkraut, and pickling.

Playing and training my Jack Russell (she's so smart), House
cleaning. and trying to find a way to be able to avoid: THE
"VID" testing and vaccine.

Still dodging Agenda 21, 30, Biometrics - ID2020, Healthy People 2020, and still using cash, not wearing a mask, hoping the Federal Reserve is demolished and enjoying life.

Lots and lots of praying and Thanks & Gratitude to God.smile_hear

Prayers Sent.

They're 'Counting the Omer' for 50 days which began April 12th (the first day after the Passover sabbath) so you now only have to hang on for about 6 weeks, until May 29th.

Then we'll be out of here.
