Better stock up on ink, once you get to the French submarine sunk in the Gulf of Mexico you’re going to be printing for weeks.

I get up at 3:45am, go to work, come home and play The Sims 4 on my xbox one. I'm building an apartment complex featuring open concept lofts, studios and 1 bedroom units. There's a Jacuzzi and a large pool for community use as well as a full outdoor bar with seating and ambient lighting. Each unit has a private patio or balcony. The property is situated on water with a lush green landscape in the background.... Every unit comes fully furnished and decorated. Prices are high, don't want any riff-raff tenants.

That's what I'm doing with my time.

I ate a chicken that was stuffed into a duck that was stuffed into a goose once.

Horrible. The goose ruined it, wayyyyy to greasy

Spring cleaning
Yard work and fresh landscaping
Home repair and renovation
DIY projects
Homebrewing beer, wine, and booze
Making preserves
Planting a vegetable garden
Automobile maintenance
Cleaning guns and target practice on private property
Clearing out the crap and organizing the attic before it gets too hot up there
Making masks from old clothes and linen
Stocking up on preps
Getting ready for hurricane season
Adopting a needy pet
Drinking excessively with neighbors
BBQing excessively with neighbors
and finally got around to fucking the wife.
 Quoting: Denizen Deplorable 2020

Other than the hurricane prep I could have wrote the post above. If I get a hurricane where I am located the world is beyond fucked since I'm at least 1000 miles from any ocean.

Re: What you all doing with your time in the limbo period?
My home lifestyle hasn't changed much at all, except for the fact that I've been focusing a lot more on songwriting. I also play video games and binge lots of Star Trek on Netflix. I was never a really social person so the distancing thing hasn't caused any type of negative effect in me. I have however actually been working a lot more since this all started so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I was also able to move into a new home in a very good area for significantly less than market value, and I just bought a new (used) truck, getting a ridiculously good deal on it to the point that if the economy rebounds, I'll be able to sell it for more than I paid for it in a couple years. Honestly, and I feel bad saying this, my life has improved dramatically since this all started.

Making BANK!

The last time I was on unemployment was 1984. Laid off Electrician. I figured I would see if that $600 a week bonus would show up. Get some of that money back I have paid into for decades.

It did! I am making $300 a week more than when I worked!

Plus this has given me a chance to go through my music gear and get it listed & sold.

But, Yesterday I just got the call back to work. May 4th, back to work.

For an introvert like me, this has been great!

Cutting down dead trees from last year in the yard. Spraining my leg. Getting fatter cause I sprained my leg. Scrolling through glp panicking because of protest that could turn into riots, magnetosphere being wacky. We're gonna all fry soon. Watching the oil crash. Seeing threads of omfg flightradar, doooommmm, Looking for nukes in the sky. Waiting for 1:30 to see if three days of darkness and doom shows up.

That about covers it.. counting how many days of food I have in case shtf happens.

Not noticing anything besides closed cinema. Work, sports and hobby normal. No social life. Stores a bit weird. Just living life.

Re: What you all doing with your time in the limbo period?
I finished the first draft of my third book in the trilogy and made a first complete copy yesterday. Today, the editing begins

I am a little lonly--but, I have really loved having the distraction-free time. Even with the time, I can only write so much each day--I just have to be done after an average of 3 hours or so--but---still, being able to do it consistently every day has been wonderful.

I was behind my schedule and I still wish it were done sooner--but at least, it is ready for editing and will not be hanging over my head for even longer!!!!!SmileyGlas

By day I refresh glp and stare at the dirt in my garden, practically willing my plants to sprout up. In the afternoon I add alcohol to the mix.
